About Ashleigh

I’m Ashleigh, a yoga teacher and facilitator based in Melbourne.

Movement has always been part of my life. Growing up, sport and dance shaped the way I understood my body and wellbeing, and early on I noticed the connection between movement and how I felt, both physically and mentally.

Yoga first entered my life as a way to manage stress, offered casually by a colleague, but it quickly became something much deeper. It felt like a return to presence and connection, and a way of relating to myself that extended beyond the physical practice.

I completed my Yoga Teacher Training at Power Living in Melbourne, guided by Chris Wilson, Cassie Lee and Manoj Dias. Over time, yoga has become less about any single technique and more a way of living — one that continues to shape how I move, listen and meet daily life.

Becoming a mother to my son Remi has further deepened this understanding, offering daily lessons in patience, perspective and presence.

I currently co-lead 200hr Yoga Teacher Trainings in Melbourne, host annual retreats in Bali, and teach regular classes locally. Across all of this work, my focus remains the same. Creating spaces that feel thoughtful, grounded and supportive, where people can slow down and return to themselves.

I also share reflections on practice, movement and everyday life over on Instagram, if you’d like to follow along between classes.

How I work

My teaching is guided by care, intention and presence. I pay attention to how movement, language and space are held, creating an environment where people can soften, feel supported and come home to themselves.
